Governance is defined as a form or process of organizing political, economic, and administrative authority in managing problems faced by society or the nation by involving all sectors, including the public sector, the private sector, and the third sector, namely civil society. Governance is an interaction system where political, economic, and administrative processes are carried out democratically, accountably, and participatory by involving all actors and stakeholders. Stunting is a condition that occurs in children due to stunted body growth or not reaching their genetic potential. Stunting is usually characterized by short height for the child's age or there is a significant difference between the child's height and the growth standards that should be. Stunting governance in Bekasi Regency has been running but is not optimal. This can be seen from the issuance of Bekasi Regent Regulation No. 205 of 2022 concerning the Acceleration of Integrated Stunting Reduction and Bekasi Regent Decree Number: HK.02.02 / Kep. 500 - DPPKB / 2023 concerning Amendments to Bekasi Regent Decree Number HK. 02.02/ Kep.210/DPPKB/2022 concerning the Bekasi Regency Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team. However, the action plan contained in the regulation has not been implemented optimally, this can be seen from several indicator achievements that have not been achieved or have not been implemented and there has been no monitoring of the implementation of the action plan. The Bekasi Regency Government has carried out a series of programs/activities involving regional apparatuses, institutions, and the private sector in an effort to reduce stunting rates in Bekasi Regency. The governance of stunting management and a series of programs/activities that have been carried out by the Bekasi Regency Government continue to be continued comprehensively, routinely and in the long term. To further optimize the governance of stunting management, strategic efforts are needed and these efforts are formulated in reducing the prevalence of stunting in Bekasi Regency through 3 aspects, namely the aspect of the stunting management system, the specific intervention aspect, and the sensitive intervention aspect.
